I have fly fished all over the world for more than
40 years in both salt and fresh water. My favorite spot for large beautiful
Rainbow Trout is Troutfitters in Coopers Landing Alaska. Troutfitters, besides
having some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, have the most, large,
bright, and aggressive trout for which I have ever fished. The owners and
guides at Troutfitters understand their fishery better than any group of
guides that I have ever come in contact with. I
spend close to 3 months in Alaska each year traveling around and fly fishing.
For more than a decade Troutfitters has been my Trout headquarters during
August and September, Curt, Billy, Dusty, and the rest of the Troutfitters
gang make every angler feel like they are part of the family. Chances
are that if you show up at Troutfitters, we will fish together.
Thank You Troutfitters!

I have fished with Billy Coulliette for the past 4
years and have found him to be "consistently excellent". Billy
has an uncanny ability of finding big rainbows and is an excellent oarsman
once you have your trophy hooked up. He is an extremely hard worker, knowledgeable
in every aspect of
fly fishing, and never tires in working to make your trip enjoyable and
memorable. His intimate knowledge of the Kenai River will assure that
you have the best chance of catching your rainbow of a
lifetime.

Just a word of thanks for the wonderful float trip
this summer. It was by far the highlight of our summer especially for
our daughter Brooke. Your special trip was a great bonding experience
for three generations and that is priceless.

As the Alaska rep for companies like Sage, Simms,
Ross and Rio I get the opportunity to blend fishing and business statewide.
I've certainly have my favorite fishing spots, with that in mind in the
months of June or September a trip down the Kenai with Billy and the Troutfitters
crew is one not to miss. Their knowledge, professionalism and attention
to detail from boat launch to take out is second to none.
Best Regards,

When I dream about fishing my mind always drifts to
one incredible river and Troutfitters in Coopers Landing, Alaska. It's
not simply because the Kenai River hosts the most spectacular scenery
and wildlife on its banks. It is the thought of a sunny day spent in a
drift boat with the most friendly and experienced guides on the river.
It is the excitement of hooking up that once-in-a-lifetime jumbo rainbow
trout. It is the camaraderie of hoots and hollers when your trophy fish
takes to the sky shaking its head and then speeds through the current
causing your fly reel to scream. It is the moment of congratulations from
your guide on a battle well fought and the pictures you take home on your
camera and in your mind. No matter what time of year it is, my thoughts
find me wishing for fall. You see the Kenai River, the guides and Troutfitters
have me hook, line and sinker and I can't wait to go back.

As a fishing guide who spends his summers in Bristol
Bay, and his winters fishing in New Zealand and South America... I get
the opportunity to sample a wide array of fishing locations and conditions.
These areas offer unique attributes and experiences, however, each fall,
when I leave Southwest Alaska, I find myself back on the Kenai River fishing
with Billy and Dusty at Alaska Troutfitters. The trout fishing on the
Kenai is world class, but that is only one reason I return year after
year. The entire crew at Troutfitters is knowledgeable and dedicated.
They not only do they put their clients on fish, but they enhance the
entire experience with unbridled enthusiasm and camaraderie. I've experienced
some of my fondest fishing memories with Billy and Dusty and know the
future will be full of many more unforgettable trips.

I like nothing better than to fish for big Rainbows
and Dolly Varden on the Kenai River and every truly large fish I have
ever caught on the Kenai has been in a boat guided by a Troutfitters guide.
I not only recommend them for their guiding skills, but also for their
congenial and helpful attitude toward their clients. From the reservations
desk to the guides themselves, Troutfitters is it!!
